    mustang GT_tuner_ragingpixels

I got some inspiration to do this from Stanger's post on using his own mesh to make a simple concept tune up, and so mines will be simple as well, mines will be derived towards Artists who sees bodykits not as a piece of Rice or an over riced part, or looks too fake or anything like that, just for artists who percieve the littlest incorrection as just being myself and unique, later all.

nice work mate, but i think that it would look a bit better if you spread out the polys on the roof a bit, and your back fender looks a bit werid

@Axel: tell me about it, this mesh is old, and well, forget about fixing this. Lets just skip all that skud work and start cosmetically tuning this man!, its all conceptual from here on out, my end goal is not a mustang, more of a hybrid of that and a few other cars. later.

Looking good so far, looks like it needs a 80 degree phong tag though. In my opinion it looks like it is still to blocky.

I think if you want to progress as a low poly modeller you need to spend more time and be more careful on your vertice placement. I can see many bumps that should not be there.

Because low poly has so few faces to work with you need to be even more careful than if it was going to be high poly because its a lot more visible where things arent correct.

However if your just using the mesh as a base to work on for a nurbs project then why label your threads as low poly?

This may sound a bit harsh but everyone needs crits sometime.

@puafia: thankyou for your concern, my thread isnt marked low poly, as you can see, this one just says simple mustang tune up. I'm just doing this stuff for fun, the regular guys that buy my cars dont look for accuracy, they base it off of uniqueness and if it has any artistic features in it, my models have been in some asian magazines and car show banners. Sure accuracy may be a big deal in most cases, but not in mines, there are more proportional car modelers in this world than there are artists, and well I dont want to be a car modeler, i've grown tired of this line of what CGI cars are suppose to look like. thankyou for your concern again man, and thanks for dropping by. later, i'll update after I finish setting up a car for a buyer, later.

looks like an ok start. Tell me, how can u grow tired of something that you haven't even got a hold of yet ? You said you're tired of car modeling, but you haven't even learned enough yet to be tired of it. Well, you've created about 5 car threads and it's not really against the rules, but it seems wrong because you haven't even got one good tuned car. My advise is to pick one car and work on it and not create countless threads with diff. cars which are not even that good. You dont have to agree with me, but at least stop working on so many cars and finally produce one decent result here, man. Since you're a beginner, you should start off with one car and do it slowly, payin attention to every detail, cuz otherwise u're gonna pollute this board with those threads uve made. Just pick a car you like and really TUNE it, dont just throw a kit and some ok rims on it and jump on to the next car. One more thing: no need to bs ppl sayin ur work was in some magz or at car shows. IF you really want some recognition/respect, then create something cool and show it here. And to everybody else: if you have something to say about my comments or attitude, then do so via PM and not in this thread because this comment is only for the author of this thread and any unnecessary remarks from anyone else are not welcome.

I know what you are trying to say, but if I spend more than 32 hours on a single project, I quit afterwards, I dont have the stamina or mind power to work on just one car, I dont make interior or any of that, and you didnt say that we had to make all out ones either, nor did you say we had to only stick to one car. I know they arent that good, but its good enough to have some poeple like them, you cant please everyone. I never said they were the $#!t. My priorities are exteriors, thats all I ever do. Whenever I get a job for making a 3D concept on a body kit, all they ask for is the exterior, and thats what I have been accustomed to. I'm not making cars to show off, as I've said before numerous times, I'm not all that serious as some of the other guys here and im not here to show off, im just here to show/present/display. Where I come from, showing off gets you in trouble, so well its been smacked into my brain not to do so, even thogh this is online, its not like its easy to go out of the bounds you were forced to live within and be free. Enough of that, If I offended anyone in any way, just delete all my threads, no hard feelings.
^_^, thanks for holding this contest though, I think its really fun! I've got a few more clients since this started as well as buyers, so thanks again shaddix!

ok, here is my first update, first of all, DROP THE ACCURACY STUFF GUYS, I dont even know what a tires profile is.....something to do with the size or something, I keep forgetting, i'll ask my dad later. here is wip, I have no idea what I'm doing, call it ricing out if you want, which is a racial term, but im just doing what I do best, fool around and model sketches that I draw up in my free time.

I dont know yet, maybe, maybe not, it depends after I finish, like the civic, I ran out of things o do, so I meshsmoothed it, but who knows, maybe this one i'll just get bored of it completely? thanks for dropping by. later.
I'm purposely keeping the poly edges defined and visible so that I can model better, this is how my mesh always look while im modeling it., later. i'll show scan in my sketch later ok?
