@wildfire:im a noob, so i really dont have a clue on how to do such things yet, maybe in a few months or so. it does take a good computer to do good renders as well as money and those two things i dont have, money for plugins to use HDR or whatever you may be referring to, and money to pay for electricity costs as well., a faster computer takes more electricity. and the reason why i posted in the beginners is because, well, im a beginner, i didnt know that this place was so uptight about this thing. i guess shaddix or whomever the admin that hosts this should have made a noob thread as well. also, its low poly and im using a rather old program to make it, what more do you expect?
@pakistani:thankyou for looking at it and for actually reading my older posts.

ragingpixels, my apologies if I didn't see your thread... it doesn't mean I wasn't paying attention Click here to enlarge. To be honest, I am not fond on low poly cars. But I will tell you what, your model looks good except the blue wild looking Lambo. (Way too much!). Render may need a little improvement thats all.
    keep on working.

yo man, dont worry about the skill level division-it was done only to separate the good shit from the rest. ANd what the rest is, i dont really care. Even if this car is low poly, u can still make it look good. And well, a faster computer doesnt really need that much more electricity and i think that, just using ur washing machine for an hour takes more electricity than using ur computer for a week. Just remember that if u save on one thing, ull lose somewhere else, and that's how it always is. Like, u buy something cheap and u get all excited about it that u've saved some money, and then u get pulled over and get a ticket and pay like 5 times more what u saved, u know ?
Just keep on doing this car because this contest is about fun, man. This is the beginner section and i dont really care how bad some shit gets here, as long as somebody likes it (the pro section is a different story).

i really like your render man awesom the first one i really like it. Listen your car looks nice if i were you i would keep the paint job the blue one and fix and tweak your car a lil more and model new more realistic rims i like your model so far keep going. Thats what its all about you model your car we tell you your mistakes you fix them thats how it goes.

@theshaddix and wchurbck: thanks for the pep talk guys, it made me feel a lot better, my inspiration is back now, i'll resume this car now rather than just keep working on the civic, i'll do them both now, i'll see if i can crunch in some new rims onto this.
