Getting a rendered animation

Can someone please tell me how to get a rendered animation because i can only figure out how to get the animation but it is not rendered it is what it looks like when i am modeling

Set up your render settings exactly the same as you would for a still image. Then go to Rendering, Render (F10) and select active time segment (to render all of the animation) use the below options to render certain frames.

Make sure you scroll down and go to Render Output and click Files. Select where you want the animation to be saved, and select a file type (and sometimes what type of codec?

You are now ready to render your animation!
