    why you put a black shader on it?

    we can't appreciate the modelling accuracy and the complete design

    I do have two other renders somewhere with different shaders but i think the black definately looked the best without a doubt. I cant work out how to put a nice chrome or brushed metal effect on the alloy. This definately was the best, there are my two other alloy tests on my audi tt topic. I think everyone opted for the black. As for the modelling its perfect :P And it bloody well should be it took me long enough. lol.

    This is my first rim and tire. I've just started learning 3D :buttrock: and this tire is for my Fiat 500 I'm buildning at the moment.

    :clown: Yeah, technically you are correct ... I can easily fix that.

    The disc was actually created to go behind the rims shown below, so the mounting point onto the hub was hidden. That's the advantage/disadvantage of having nice open rims - you see everything ! Click here to enlarge

    I was testing with the MR blurred reflections on the rim and brake disc material ..

    The wheels below are Old School ... these look simply great on the old cars but don't suit the new cars (you need at least 17" rims to start looking good on some of those new car designs!)
