    TOUGH render's

    Hello all...I been messin tonight in Max 2012 and decided to throw together some render's to test some scene's. Thanks for lookin!

    They look very nice, but the first one needs a backplate with better resolution.

    lol...I knew someone would say that. I agree I just grabbed that last minute. As with this one I got thesefrom who knows who and use them to test with.I don't spend much time looking for back plates. Thanks for the comment bro...

    lighting looks good! Would u mind if i'll ask u something in next future? XD i still need to understand how to render like this with hdrs in MR.....i think i'm missing a step D= anyway, ur looks good Click here to enlarge maybe shadow is too dark..are u using a mip_matte_shadow?
    There's nothing better than staring at a product you modeled on a screen getting into production and coming to reality.

    Briex,

    I agree that the shadow's are dark. I had the car to low and the light was not coming from the opposite side. I am rendering in Max 2012 64bit. The HDR set up is not to hard the plane has a matte-shadow-plane material yes. However if you choose not to use lighting you can still get a shadow that is non directional by using an ambient occlusion mix material. Thanks for looking and if you need help just PM me and I will beable to walk you through the steps. Here's the render fixed what do you think?

    thanks mate! I'll ask ya when i'll need ^.^ shadow looks really better! I'm used to render with AO layer on, i'm getting to the end of my corolla, so i'll try something soon Click here to enlarge so u'll be able to give me ur opinion!
