I just started a new vehicle project this year. Hope will find enough time to progress smoothly additional to my job and family. The idea is to create a fictional super car like the McLaren MP4-12C. http://www.seriouswheels.com/2011/kl...p-1280x960.htm It shouldn't be a replica but share some shapes of course.
Some massive feedback will be much appreciated on this one.
I don't really understand how you can already be modelling mechanics when you don't have the exterior design, even rough one. Maybe you'll need to enlarge the wheel base, or the tracks, change wheel size etc, mobe the driver position thus the sterring column etc....
Other than that (!) nice details !
Of course I have already a rough idea about the exterior design. I think it wouldn't be possible to go through all the tech-stuff without modify them a bit afterwards. My thought was to have more fun while modeling without checking the proportions all the time. Hope this make sense.
Just did some quick renders out of KeyShot, hope you like them.
Yes this make sense as soon as you can easily modify technical stuff afterwards....
Btw nice renders ! I really need to give a try to keyshot... Looks like a nice software....
