Lamborgini Countach Concept: Snow Angel Rendered

Happy New Year, everyone! Wishing you a very prosperous new year!

I am new here and this is my first post. I hope to learn more from this great community!

The Lamborghini Countach is a mid-engined supercar that was produced by Italian automaker Lamborghini from 1974 to 1990. Without doubt, Countach is an unforgettable work of beauty for every Lamborghini fans.

I have been fascinated by this exquisite vehicle for many years. However, more than 20 years has passed and with todays’ taste, the old design of Countach seems to be a little “out of date”. So, I decided to design my own Countach. Here is my work: Countach Concept, code name: Snow Angel.

I tried my best to preserve the original appearance of Countach, such as doors, wheels, rear spoiler, etc. But the outline of my redesigned Countach is smoother. Personally, since the name of Countach is an exclamation of astonishment used by men on seeing an extremely beautiful woman, the shape of this car should be also elegant, like a beautiful woman. So, I made the appearance of my Countach Concept mild and tender (compared with other Lamborghinis). But from the sharp cuts of the main frame, she still shows the characteristic of Lamborghini. What I am trying to do is to bring temper force with grace to her.

What’s more, as you can see, I have combined some characters of her offspring, such as Murcielago’s shape and Reventon’s back, to make her appearance appeal to taste nowadays. For the sake of our environment, she will use hybrid power.

Comparing to many Concept cars, she might not look so "cool", but that's what I want. I want her to be a car which can run on nowadays street. By the way, she will be an important character in a planned animation of mine. I don't want her to be so weird.

Since I am a student now and my major is not automobile design, there might be some glitches in this design. So I know there’s much work for me to improve this design. If you have any better idea or find some problems of my work, please inform me. Any comments are welcome.

Hope you enjoy it! Thank you for your visit!

Pay a tribute to Marcello Gandini, the father of Countach.

Special thanks to Flavio Adriani, whose work: Lamborghini Countach EV gave me inspiration.

Ah good ol' countach... I loved that car when I was a little boy. The rear wheel should be wider, the rims should be tucked into. Maybe adding One projector headlight with LEDs surrounding bringing "retro-concept" feeling. Yet its a good work.

Anyway wishing you a prosperous year too. as well.

Thank you for your correction! I learnt the meaning of "Countach" from Wiki, but according to yours... Maybe this is another kind of "misunderstanding makes a new name" story like the name of "kangaroo"?

To tell the truth, in her first version, I gave her the rectangular integrated headlights, however, my friends said it looked too much like Murcielago's, not Countach's! So, I made such a change. But soon I regreted to do so... Now I consider I should bring it back...

I'll put the first model later. Thanks again for your advice!

I used to give her the rectangular integrated headlights, but I thought it would make her too much like Murcielago, so... Now I am going to bring it back in my next version.

yes that's murcielago! XD u should try something really new...the heart of this lambo is not the light shape....is more the overall feeling...try something completely new...Lamborghini is not used to restyle old models...u could get a really great concept "inspired" by the Countach feeling...that would be Awesome! Hi guys, I'm back now! Of course with the new version of my Countach Concept: Snow Angel.

This is her third version. She has become more angular and agreesive, just like nowadays Lambos!

Now the pop out lights have been replaced by integrated headlights like aventador's.

The old side skirt has been removed to make her slim.

Fell free to comment and thank you for your advice!

    Glad you like my design!
You are right, my white paint looks terrible! I want to make a alpin white or icy white car paint. I have tried shellac and Vray car paint, but neither could offer a good result. It looks like I have to spend more time on it...

Hi guys, after the long spring festival holiday, I am back with my work on my Countach Concept.
I gave her new snowflakes-shape rims and a smoother front face.
I feel difficult to make more changes and if everything is OK, this should be her final version.

Here are her new pictures: On the Icy Lake
