And now we are officially done with this contest. I'm very glad that there were so many people entering and competing (there were 24 people total). It's weird that so many people refused to post their final results in the end; however it might be because of the sudden deadline change (for some) or it might be because they thought it was pointless to post the final pics. Anyway, thanks to the poll, we now know who the winner is (Strig). Some of you may not agree with it, but im going to tell you something: it's not really important who gets the first place in the end because what matters the most is the ride (the process) and there would be absolutely no point in such things as this one if it weren't for the WIP progress posting. Strig has delivered a nice damn design, that's for sure. Soad takes the second place. Twooneone gets the third. Personally, i think it should be the other way around, but that's just my opinion. All 3 of the designs, if combined into 1, will look mean as hell. I will PM all 3 of the winners and give them their prizes, like i promised.
As for this contest, it was a test (for me and for u). I've never done any contests before this one and i had 0 experience in it, but now i know more about how to run things and i'm ready for the next contest 100%.
The whole point in such contests is to have some fun on these boards because it's pretty boring without that.
For those who didn't get to the top 6: please don't cry. The next contest is your chance to show what you really got. If you don't got anything, it'll show, but if you got it, you'll get the respect. Getting into top 6 or 10 is not everything because all of you are on different levels here; it's important to mention that some (if not all) of you have learned a lot during this time (you can tell by comparing the first and the last posts in your thread). To be honest, this contest was not the best way to show how good some of you are because this contest was based on an already existing car with given parameters and there wasn't really much to do. But some of you have really done something cool here and i'm very impressed with the final results.

Shaddix, even if its your first time hosting this contest, you did good. and least make this place becoming exciting. I really enjoy be part of this contest eventhough I wasn't selected for best 6. That's something I have learned from comments and crits since it was my first time joining this contest.
