Vehicle Livery Designer - Playground Games (United kingdom)
Hi Guys, we've opened up another position at Playground Games. Note this position is in house and only open to those eligible to work within the European Union.
This role is a paid contract position, with a duration of 6 months.
As a Vehicle Livery Designer, you will be instrumental in the concept and creation of vehicle liveries; to fit briefs laid out within the game design. A strong grasp for visual design and excellent graphics skills are a must.
You will work under the guidance of the Lead Vehicle Artist to transform design briefs into usable in game liveries. You must have a strong grasp for visual design and a comprehensive design understanding. You must be flexible, highly motivated and detail conscious.
You should have:
In-depth Photoshop knowledge
A strong understanding of visual design principles
The ability to capture and express brand identity
Excellent understanding of tone and colour
Excellent understanding of silhouettes and value relationships
Understanding of layout, composition, flow
An eye for detail
Excellent communication skills
A passion for games and motorsport
Desirable skills
An understanding of vehicle UVW unwraps
Basic 3dsmax knowledge
