Starting working on Ceramic Carbon Brake Rotor along with Caliper. All of these were modeled in Rhino in 3.5 hours today including Texturing and Render.
isn't that caliper too squarish? =/ maybe is right like that, but it seems to me too square...dunno...and carbon txt is not that real..maybe is the realtime render in rhino the only problem! modeling looks pretty good as simple =)
There's nothing better than staring at a product you modeled on a screen getting into production and coming to reality.
There are variety type of caliper out there, Rouded, Squared, colorful, big, small, ugly, beautiful and etc. Oh You could even customize it without having to buy famous brand like bembo. This is I what am doing following reference -->Brembo 332mm Big Brake
Only changing my way, pressure tubes in/out rotations leaks on the side instead of ends (i have seen one in real life).

First, There is/are no Realtime renders in Rhino! Not at least yet,,,, I imported these model into 3ds max from rhino and render it with Vray (Not VrayRT) Second, The texture is not carbon... Its Carbon Ceramics... Like this image reference here Carbon Ceramic Rotor #1 Carbon Ceramic Rotor #2
So... Hopefully, all reference I provide does change your perspective.
Finally managed to find time to do some test render... Testing Material vs Light and so on... The first two, Taxis were inspired from game I played called SimTaxi. And as for last one, The Pink bonnet, tops and etc... Were my given honor on Women's breast cancer awareness month (October). Next one will be in progress on final submission, Feel free to make comments or anything
