Hey, man. Good to see you decided to participate Click here to enlarge

This is the Asanti CX-505, right? I only know that after spending a lot of time on the site. It's still early, so I'm sure there are plenty of details to hash out, but it's looking good. Old school, CG Cars orange and black?

    Keep it up.

    Progress

I'm still working out the glitches on the Viper. in order for me to use it I had to convert the FBX to OBJ and the Daz Studio program does not read the underside of a vertex face and parts of the Viper had been inverted :-/ so I had to try and fix alot of it in Wings3D... Man I love that program :-)

Here is a sample of what I have so far. what do y'all think?

Oh and yes the Rim is modeled after the CX-505 and the colors are Halloween colors .. black and orange hehe

that program is Daz studio? i use it for human poses....and it works pretty good...but if i'll have to model in that program i'll get mad in 1 minute =S in fact ur driver is nice! =) the car is nice too anyway....with such an unexpected program for such a contest XD =)
There's nothing better than staring at a product you modeled on a screen getting into production and coming to reality.

Yeah I know Daz Studio is a very unexpected program to use for all this hehe. But as a Hobbiest I can't afford those expensive programs like Maya and Max.. I have and use Blender but I figured id let Daz Studio in the door hehehe.

Nice renders, i like it. I have a little tip for you, i think you work in linear space (I'm guessing). Open your images in photoshop and add levels ajustment, make middle handle to about 1.7, see how it looks Click here to enlarge
