Just in from work, will try and hammer something out =p
Actually the road is real, and is in China, called the Tian Men Shan (Big Gate, I think road). There's an 1.1km change in altitude on this road - once I finish studies and get a decent car, I'm going there before all these electrics and hybrids take over.
That road look fun.. image how you would have to tilt your head a lot every time you steer on so many curves. And 1.1km change on altitude. You gonna need to bring oxygen tank with you.
I'm with u man! let me buy an AE or a japanese rear traction car and i'm with u! XD Let's go togheter to china!!! haha...anyway..looks good, maybe i'll crop a bit more the image..just because the car get lost in such a great photo!
There's nothing better than staring at a product you modeled on a screen getting into production and coming to reality.
haha yeah, it's crazy, and the surprising thing is, its pretty new, was finished in 2006. I'm so glad there's people who don't have to conform to health and safety. Should be featured on Top gear, looks better than the Transfagarasan highway they featured.
Yeah, I actually found some other potential backplates - not the same road, but curvy mountain roads nonetheless, but due to higher priorities, didn't have as much time. Cropping the image any more than it is would leave it pixelated. (Original backplate was twice the size of that btw)
Anyway, here's my "close-up," its not great, but its all I have time for - no backplate here, except for the mountain. 24mins to go...
