As i m not used to deadlines and thats my very first contest. just hope to get a result!
So.. i started a rim. nothing special. tyre selection is still on thought plus how the renders would be (outdoors or studio)
    here's my -a-bit-bumpy-messy- progress. c&c are welcome.

Thanks for the feeadback guys. finally came to a result.

@ EquiNOX thanx! sidewall is modelled but things didn't turned out that smooth and clean... plus size and width of tire dont seems to fit that well.

Its kinda late to change it... Anyway i'm happy for getting a result. not much happy with the result but oh well...

I like wide shot a lot! but if u add some fog, it will look even better Click here to enlarge And i thing you should use fresnel reflection on your car, reflections will look mush more better. Its just my opinion Click here to enlarge Background isn't 3 d write?

looks nice! Maybe i will get rid of that dof in the closeup and lower the reflections amount on carpaint, and taking rear wheels a bit off the car (now they'r too in IMO)...anyway, just arguing =) good job!

Looks ok, you got some perspective issues and the DOF on the 2nd image doesn't work on the background? Click here to enlarge

You guys caught me! yeah there are several issues on both.

@ GEO thought also about some fog but didnt know how to do it in 3ds max so i left it out. Car paint also has issues.
much tweaking and couldn't decide of how it should go. reflections are not fresnel... enventually not the best decision.
    backround is a backplate.

@Briex yeah the close up is a bit mess. i dont really like it. the idea was different in the begining but didn't turned out as i wanted.
Dof is also something i cant use properly yet. still practising with it. so it was kinda risky on this one! Tires also has issues. and yeah you re right for the rear one. it would look better i think.

@PBenjamim good eye! Click here to enlarge
