    Surface gets buggy

    Hello
    I'm currently working on rim in Rhino but I noticed some problem; on the screenshot You can see some artifacts on the objects, I get them much more if I array this part and then join it into one piece. This problem didn't occur when I created this surfaces for the first time. Adjust meshing doesn't really help.
    Thank You for help!
    Cheers

    it's because you're using Rhino (a buggy sorftware ).
    To have better results use Solidworks or Catia...

    No Franck27... Its not because of buggy issues. Research before you can give a constructive crits...

    Brazniew, You're seeing this because your viewport render quality is too low... If you want better quality, On the menu, go into Tool --> Options... You will be prompted with Rhino Option dialog. And on the left panel, will be lists labels tree. You need to highlight on "Mesh", At Render Mesh Quality categories, You will notice default has already set up "Jagged & Faster" you'd need to choose "smooth & slow" or customize your own.

    Hope that helps.

    EquiNOX: Thank You. This option was checked too, raising meshing quality doesn't help, only raises artifact quality too :P

    Did you trim/cut the mesh before you changed the mesh quality? If so.. you'd need to rebuild surface or curves and trim/cut it again.

    Or you can, increase surfance quality by rebuild it again, this would work same way.

    I encountred this issues several time, and only answer is because surface or render mesh quality is too low.

    EquiNOX: Nope, surface was finished and I didn't change anything later on it. Here is screenshot how it looks on higher meshing quality;

    Sometimes i got the same problems in Autodesk inventor and Autodesk Alias, but is usually a preview problem. When i export them in a solid model (from autodesk Alias to Inventor to go then to another program, usually Pro-E) those bugs disappears. Dunno if is the same in rhino =/
    There's nothing better than staring at a product you modeled on a screen getting into production and coming to reality.

    Brazniew... Obviously after viewing e-map Your surface tolerance is too low, and I can assure you that. Post me one with isoparms.
