Aprilia RSV4 2010 Race Black ed.
I'm starting this new thread as i started this new project =) obvious
As i'll have to work on my laptop, i had to give up all my other projects and decided to finally start this bike. It is long time since i started to think about modeling it.
I decided i'll use both Maya and Inventor to complete this project.
I'm posting u some images from the special carbon edition i'm wondering to replicate, hoping to end it in a short time! And i'm posting also some renders/screenshots of the first pieces i made, always looking for ur help! =)
I know there are some minor bumps, and i'm still correcting them as i see them, soo...if u see something... =) thank u!

@ 3davt - This one is my second bike model, and i think modeling bikes is someway harder then cars, only because of all those details needed =/ 4 the rest is the same as a car, except 4 not been able to use the mirror function in most of cases. Now i'm trying to render my first bike model and i think i'll post it here =)

Yeah, it's basically that you do not have a choice on whether to model the engine and other mechanical bits; so compared to modeling a car with a basic interior, it probably is more work. Then again, you have people here modeling cars with their engines and suspensions and axles and .. well they're just nuts!

U're right, i've been modeling a car engine too, a RB26DETT, but on a bike...well, no choice....=/
Here are a couple of renders of my previous bike model, a Confederate Fighter P120
