Rendering at high resolutions - Dynamic memory too low.

I'm getting this message which is severly impacting my render performance when I'm trying to render at high resolutions (2k,3k). I've set my memory limit to 7500mb (i have 8gb) and converted all high poly objects to vray proxies but I still get the message. Apart from buying more ram, is there any other way to get past this?

Max? - Try using a maxscript called SuperRender, It splits up your render into tiles and reassembles it into a finished image. Remember that Max has to keep your scene, the light maps (or calculation), the textures, and an image buffer (equal to the size of your high res image) all in RAM.

yes. Change to dynamic memory and limit to 4 instead. Should render everything - but slower.

What about changing your render bucket size?

if this is Vray. Try reducing your max tree depth until it works.... try starting at 60 and go from there.
