    Argh! Surface trouble! (AST)

Hey all, just a quickie to ask anyone if they have any resolution to my trouble surface here.
I cant for the life of me think of the patch layout needed to make the fillets work, they only need to be tangent continuous.

many thanks for any help =)

Something like this should work. You'll likely need to massage your center blend first before you add the final square.

Yup..... That would be the most natural solution, not to say classical Click here to enlarge
Try to work around that .... for G1 it should be easy to achieve what u want.
You are thinking right....So, good luck Click here to enlarge

Ah.....If u have problems, and want another solution......
When building squares, dont use the trimmed edge common to both surfaces (after u make those 2 surfaces like u are showing.
Use a curve instead. Why?... because you are lightning up the maths of those surfaces, so u ll achieve easily G1 or G2 on the other edges. Then, align the edges of the surfaces that share that common curve.....Try Partial and vector options ON.
If it messes up the other edges, align only to G0 or P (in alias) and then plug a tangent continuity comb to the common edge, and massage the hull accordingly with MOVE CV.

dont give up Click here to enlarge

P.S. dont worry about everything being 1 span... 2 or 3 spans and some more in harder areas will be ok, if it looks good and renders well. Getting everything 1 span in alias, is not funClick here to enlarge, not to say too unnecessaryly hard.
