    Here are some new clays:

I've made different rims (hopefully better ones) and modeled the brakes (custom "buterfly" rotors). I also cleaned the mesh a bit and made the parts match up a bit better.

P.S. Try to ignore the floating car aspect of the first screenshot. I was sleepy and overlooked that aspect when I rendered. :o Click here to enlarge

damn, nice kit. The modeling is ok (could be better), but the design is tight. The wheels r bringing it down though. And those brakes too.

To be sincere I'm not to fond of high-poly modeling. I used to do low-poly cars for games like GTA:SA and now I work as a 3d modeler in the gaming "industry".

    One question for theshaddix:

Can you please look at this post and tell me the time it was posted at in your time zone (the contest's time zone) pls?

i like the overall-design very much. and i like that there is no break-fast-table on the back ;-) the widebody-kit is a bit to wide, but thats only my opinion. some of the edges could be sharper, somehow they look like carved soap...

Very nice. I just don't like the rearlights.. they look too simple atm. There are also many bumps on the rearbumper.

I know about the rear bumper, it's a little different from the sketch design-wise. That's the way I wanted it to be... The "bumpiness" is being taken care of as I type! Those rear-lights are also WIP and, just as the rims, might be changed!

Question for theshaddix: Is it ok if my clay renders use different shades of gray? I designed the kit with a two color paintjob in mind and I want my final renders to reflect that!

    Like this I mean:

yes , its ok , of course. But what kind of kit is that if u use grey plastic around the car ? Picture that in real life ? I would just keep it all the same color and add some little plastic/cf details later. But its ur design so u decide.

No, it's not plastic, just a darker color! The rendering limitations of this contest (they are ok with me, because I don't like rendering) are limiting in some way my design...

Anyway, in advance of my final renders which will be posted soon, here are some wireframes:

I'm still waiting for theshaddix to tell me what's the official timezone of the contest....
