GTS vs GTX Which one is good

i have finally done my Computer Configuration. But yesterday when i was serching for card i found GTX OR GTS Both are new but
Which one is best by performance . what is the basic diffrence between them?

I am planing to buy on of this cards but which one you give suggestion.

    XFX Geforce GTS250 PCIE 1GB DDR3 Dual-Dvi 738MHZ Price ( $154.99)

Geforce GTX260 Pcie 896MB DDR3 576MHZ 2PORT Dvi Price ($179.99) All prizes taken from AMAZON

Now GTS 250 is 1gb 256 bit and GTX 260 is 896MB 256 bit and you can see the diffrences between prices.

check this website http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/high_end_gpus.html . higher price usually means higher performanceClick here to enlargebetter cards have more transistors and better GPU. I own GF 260 and I think it's suitable, it is not that expensive and with a great performance.

It depends on, for what you want to use itClick here to enlarge If you only work with CG then a GTS250 is enoughClick here to enlarge but if you play games etc. i would buy the GTX!

As adozv already said, the higher the price, the more performance you'll haveClick here to enlarge But there is another reason why i would also buy the GTX, cuz the GTS250 has a old chip, it is the same as the 9800series G92bClick here to enlarge NV just changed the name (marketing).

I look up the actuall scores of both GPU's: Game: Crysis Warhead

    GTS250 reaches 9 FPS
    GTX260 ......."........17 FPS

Only, the GTX has a higher power usage then the GTS (about 50Watts difference) and the temps (GTX ca 70°C) are higher then the GTS(ca. 50°C (both, idle).

Now you can decideClick here to enlarge

Go with the GTX 260. It is just better in every way, by a lot. The price difference is no where near comparable to the performance difference. Though I can say that the GTS 250 will still get the job done, it just won't give you the headroom to expand in the future.

How much RAM will you run? If you are going to be running 4GB or more of RAM then definitely get the GTX 260. I say this because I am running a G92 based card (9800GT) and it does alright with this stuff but when the poly count starts getting higher the graphics card will hit a wall before the RAM does. If you buy a card that can handle more than your RAM can hold, then you won't feel silly in the future when you go to buy more RAM and realize that your video card really isn't worth it.

The GTX 260, in general, is just a better all around chip.

If you can afford a Fermi card like the GTX 470, get it. Those cards are far far ahead of every other consumer card out there. Most importantly, they are built much more like workstation cards so they perform MUCH better in 3D applications and such.

In short: Buy the GTX 260 (core 216) and don't spend your money on anything greater unless either find a GTX 275 for just over the cost of a GTX 260 or if you decide to go all the way and get a GTX 470 Fermi based card.
