VRED Photo Competition The Winners have been decided!
By now, the VRED Photo competition is finished and our expert jury has been evaluating the results. As for the many and above all manifold and very different results, it has been a difficult task to fairly evaluate the images. Our jury-members Steffen Schraegle, Michel de Vries and Michael Korte needed their time, but they finally came to a decision.
The lucky winners are:
1. Price – Johann Oswald @ recomCGI - with the image "Fiat".
2. Price – Johannes Dahlheimer - with the image "Milk".
3. Price – Sükrü Cengil - with the image "Hotel"
The complete credits for the first price are:
Photo: Michael Schnabel CGI Director: Thorsten Jasper Weese @ recomCGI CGI Artist: Johann Oswald @ recomCGI POST Artist: Thomas Fritz @ recomPOST
The images are convincing regarding composition and creative idea as well as in consideration of their technical preparation.
In order to properly honor the work of the second and the third winner, we give them a VRED Essentials licence besides the regular prices.
As a surprise, we decided to additionally award two further participants with a consolidation price:
Idris Kolodziej and Richard Thompson receive a VRED Essentials licence
due to their real good ideas that show the flexibility of VRED and the lack of borders in creative business.
In summary it can be said that our first VRED Photo Competition has turned out to be a full success. Within days after releasing the competition-announcement, many interested registered. Only few and rather minor problems with the licensing system and installing VRED Photo occurred. Right from the beginning, we received lots of positive feedback; people obviously had fun taking part and basically found the software easy to handle – even complete beginners.
As the competition has turned out to be so successfull, we are planning already further competitions which will take place in the near future, so you can decide whether to take part again next time.
Why there is blur on the wheels of the Fiat in the 3rd image (Hotel) ??? Moreover there is no one in the car to drive it !!! I thought the car was parked in front of the hotel until I saw this detail... the render is fine anyway but it's not logic, this would have count in the result of the contest.
Just for that, I would prefer to see at the 3rd place one of the Voge's images posted above !
