    Texturing speedometer

Hello, I am trying to texture speedometer and other dials on my car. I created it with splines, rendered in orthographic view with no(black) backrground, so I created texture (white dial on black background). Could you please tell me how should I apply it as decal? I tryied using uvw mapping modifier, as plannar, but it didnt work for me. Any advice is welcome, in texturing I am really not experienced Click here to enlarge

Should work very well using the UVW-Map modifier. Could you post a screenshot of your problem?
By the way, the renderer doesn't matter. No difference there between vRay oder Mental Gay.
