    BMW 5Series F10

So people, since I moved in December, unfortunately I have no more internet connection. But next week it will finally be back so far and then I'll be back with new updates. There will be updates on 2 projects. Both the 7 Series, as well as the 5 Series wich i recently started. Currently I have no pictures for you to disposal. Sorry for that.

At the 7 series I was working a while. New rims (Hamann HM EVO) and minor errors are corrected.

For a week I work in parallel on the new 5 Series F10. The workflow is all lengths better than the 7 Series, because I have learned much more about modeling with the 7series.

So now you can wait with tension for my posts because the 5Series gets one more time a faclift from meClick here to enlarge I will implement some of my old project (F07 preview).

So long, and a happy new year to allClick here to enlarge

Oh my word, you're fast! And it looks great - so far I can't see anything that looks inaccurate, and the mesh rocks!

    Great going!

Hey Duron! You say you're not really a detail junkie - well, you've got awsome detail in this model. I'm really impressed by the indicator units - they're not easy to model and you did a superb job.

That wheel and tyre modeling/render is really good too. I can't really crit anything, cause it's all looking accurate to date.

I'm really looking forward to your M version!

    Regards
    Giom

Well, I think its important (for me) to model the cars as realistically as possible (so seen from the proportions)
Many users here in forum have very impressive modelling skills. After 3 years of using 3ds max I have figured out that it depends on the experience. The more you focus yourself on the model, the better you get, good tutorials play a major role.
The F01 was great training for me, which I myself have discovered techniques to make a real life easier. The salient point is just whether or when it happens on the techniques. But sometimes I yearn for the level of detail, which I'll get to see too often here in forum (advanced or high-end section :loveClick here to enlarge
Imo my level of detail is rather moderate in contrast of other projects here Click here to enlarge

The long and the short of it: "Practice makes perfect" Click here to enlarge

    Thanks for the kind words

i'll keep trying Click here to enlarge

I love those headlights. Having made one just recently I know how hard it is to make an accurate one. Wish I had your skill.
But then again, when you were modeling this have you ever gone and looked at the real thing?
I'm working on Evo X right now and you can't find it in this city at all and sometimes I wish I could get to see and study the real car because sometimes the photos just don't deliver what I need.
