    350Z_contest_Darth_Plagueis

I've been busy on a different project and didn't even notice the contest got running til last night. I was going to draw some stuff up, maybe I will for the rims, but for what you see now I just modeled straight from imagination. The grille I saw before though.

So, here's what I have so far. Please, advise if you see any imperfections or give suggestions as to make it cooler if it's allowed and you wish to do so.

I did some tires and now I'm going to go draw up some wheels, I'll update when the wheels are done.

Shaddix's comments in the other threads have left me about to start again with better planning, at least on the bumper.

I made a new bumper just now, I think it's a lot better, I hope you all do, too. I'll get a wire in a bit.

shiza, I have to go fix those 5 sided polys.

i dunno man, the whole hood + bumper fin idea is kind of old. The bumper is cool, but nothing original there and it's not as interesting as what a few other ppl are doing. I think you really need to come up with something that'll give them some competition, otherwise this is just another simple kit.

Thanks for the honest and professional opinion man. I have much time on my hands, so I will try again, lol, I'll make 10 if I have to. I'm sure once I find my niche I will ride it out to the other parts and not be hindered.

Personnaly I don't like it very much, too "round" for me, but maybe I'm the only one...Click here to enlarge
Otherwise, it's clean modelling, but you have some mistakes, especially under the headlight, around the hole

that's way better, but still, those holes look way too easy and there are so many holes that the whole idea just dies instantly when u ahve so many holes. The wide body idea is not bad as long as you do it right. Too many holes, especially when they are poorly modeled, is never a good thing. The hood, on the other hand, is pretty cool. But all of your cut outs are too round. Everybody knows that round holes are easy to make. Add more style to the hood design and change ur bumper (strictly my opinion). You can change anything you want on this car, even the side mirrors if u want (make them more aerodynamic if u decide to change them).
Check the new thread here for ideas and more information.
