Rim chrome looks like plastic, the IES on the backplate look underexposed and your carpaint looks... blurred?
There is only one circle of chrome in the center of the rim - Are you talking about this part ? Could you be more specific about IES ?

thanks, about the floor that's a good idea, but i need to test this together with matte material. Any advice ?
Anyway here are new things. A back render just for fun (got inspired by the same kind of render of a bentley concept on this forum, have to find the link to the topic), a new studio render with a longer camera lens (smthg like 135mm instead of 50 or 35) more in the Audi way of doing i think...
and a last crappy integration i made myself by playing with a cool iphone app : Photosynth that helps you create a panoramic picture and automaticaly stich it (by adjusting exposures etc....) - I turned it afterwards into a HDR file (adding some light source for the sun) - I guess there is a lot of tweaking to do afterwards but it can be usefull sometimes..... and i should dirty the car to make it look more real
I do not understand people who criticize your modeling now when the car is finished ,obviously they do not understand, and especially do not understand NURBS ..... now is not easy to change things like is in the polymodeling move a few edges.to fix things....I have no criticism of the modeling.
I like the second one ,only one criticism on that render....looks like on the headlights, no glass

you're right, they re not reflective enough. I corrected that on new hdr renderings (see below). need to fix this on the studio renderings

here you are. Actually I had applied a sharpen filter but it was looking as if AA was bad, whereas it's pretty high (Vray QMC set from -1 to 4)
Thanks to smcars.net for free set of HDR/Backplate for two new renderings....
FYI, DOF on second render has been calculated with AfterEffects.
The outdoor shots have a well balanced tone and mood
of environment lighting; my only question is how large is the
vehicle compared to the building in the third render? It seems as if
the building is quite small even though it's in the background.

Thanks DarkHorse. About car size in the third render, i've been looking at white lines on the ground (parking space). I guess it's working regarding this.
