    tutorial about crushing cars

    Hi every one i would like to know if somebody can help me with a tutorial about crushing cars into a wall and loosing pieces distort the car lik a accident in maya. so i don't know if i was realy explicit but sorry Im french 16years old and english is france isn't teached quit correctly ^^

    Crashing and Crushing cars might be one of the hardest to do in my opinion. It involves alot of problems.

    One thing you can try is making the car object as a cloth object, which you can use to simulate metal.

    Not sure on tutorials, but you can give it a shot with cloth.

    Hi !! just a question... its gonna be for animation or still ? cuz i made a still imagem but i modeled the full scene. I will try to post it here.

    If it's animation, you can do it using blend shapes, but that means lot of extra modeling. I'm currently working on a similar scene with a few friends for a student film. Car should go trough an explosion so it's good thing that I'm doing only the main model, while my friends will do the blend shapes and animation (they're animators).
    You can do the pieces flying around by using particles, but again, that means you'll have to write a few expressions.

    so im gonna be more understandable whith this image

    so this videogame car have to go throug a wall and crash on it please if some one can eplain it to me in a video or simpli a tutorial I will be happy thaks again:clown:

    Google for tutorials on blend shapes in maya. You'll probably find lots of them for characters and that should give you an idea how to setup and use them. The downside with working with blend shapes is that it's not automated - you'll have to animate it manually. I think they do it for games the same way.

    Nice tuts, I'd want to try one later for fun.. Wouldn't you mind include zipped .rar format for all 4 tuts? Instead of youtube??
