    (AST) Camaro Concept help!

    Hi all..My name is Matteo. This is my first post here! Nice to meet you all..
    I am still a student..(university of "Industrial Design", I'm 21) I follow every day this forum for learn much possible about the modelling tecniques.
    At school i have learned alias studio tools...but not so depth.
    So I have a question...how can i build this surface?! I have tried but i can't obtain the right flow.

    Your curves are bad. Blend are bad. You need to practice AST much more to have good result. It's very simple place, thrust me

    true, you need practice...but you can continue practicing on this model even if the result won't be as desired.
    theoretically you need to use big slabs from where you trim the surfaces you need as you imagined in your last picture but will be very hard to build every surface like that. At least try to build main surfaces like that(hood, roof, side...). also pay very very much attention when building curves. it's the most important thing if you want to get a good result. i'd recommend you to read the help too about the main simple things too... as how a curve should look, how it should be optimised and all shit.

    Petter, I don't think anyone's suggesting (particularly me) that he abandon this model

    FED, man, hit those tutorials and practice! As Petter mentioned, panel layout is very important, and it might take a few projects to develop a workflow you're comfortable with. There are a few really good AS users roaming around here, so maybe they'll chime in as your project progresses...
