PLEASE HELP!! AST (snapping along curves)

    Snap (along curve) hotkey question

What hotkey do I need to press to snap to the nearest part of the curve? I am NOT talking about (clamping ctrl). But, like sliding along the curve and attaching the end of another curve to that point.

What's the hot key for that?

Best way to describe it is in autocad they have a nearest snap (kind of looks like an hourglass icon). What is the AST equivalent?

    Thanks!
