    custom car paint job

    Hi i am new here. is it possible to do a custom sprayed paint job onto a model i.e. a face on the bonnet or other picture. Thanks for this great forum.

    Hmm your question seem to be vague... Yeah sure its possible to do custom paint job on bonnet, body or such.

    yeah, just paint it in some 2D soft like PS or Illustrator or CorelDraw,... and map it on the car Click here to enlarge

    Do it in high resolution with Photoshop and add it opening the MESH on 3DMAX. I think thats the best way.

    i think one of the ways to do this kind of paint is to think of the drawing as a decal, so this is a good tutorial how to aplly decal over car paint

    Thanks for the replies all very helpfull. i followed the tutorial posted by dissaster and came up with this and i think it will work. it is a very basic render to see if it would work. comments please.
