So, I never really tried to make some composition image before... and here it is now. I just put 10min effort and applied what Thomas said and tweaked little bit old materials on car.

i think it looks pretty good only that you need more light in the scene, or adjust gamma.
also the model it's ugly and have lack of details wich makes it unrealistic.
anyway, good jobClick here to enlarge

My "ugly model with lack of details" in white :P (btw model is still wip) ... just to see what I will get with practically same settings.

And, yes I had to reduce hdr size because I was getting Memory Error massage every time I tried to load it Click here to enlarge

Looks nice digitaleyes, with a bit more work I'm sure it can end up even better. The tracking isn't quite there though, it looks like the two wheels on the left side of the car is lifted 10-20 cm above ground.

the hdri must be good for every carpaint collour.
haven't you seen any car in any different places at different daytime?
you only need to adjust the "skylight" from a bluey one to a more red/pink one.

What I meant was a setup like this is good for black cars, but it also works for other colors, but where other colors work fine black sometimes doesn't.
