    i'll give a shot too
    tried to do with a simple vRayMtl with fallof maps on diffuse, reflection
    no needed depth though

    also tried to mess up something with shellac (2nd pic) to shiny to noisy ...

    + some "broken pixels" appeared anyone knows why? and how to avoid it.

    anyways looks like it wond go with a simple fast mat it'll be a hard to render mat like some metals, i'll keep tweaking :P

    These Pixel (as seen on the frontbumper under the headlight) are overly bright reflections of the sun. Turn of the visibility of the sun or turn on clampPixels + suppixelmapping.
