I would really like to know in which program you are doing what you are doing. Wow, I am assuming it isn't Max, 'cos I've never seen anything that clean in Max (shame on Autodesk!).
I would love to learn this method, as in my head it makes the most sense to go about creating a 'scaffold' for your polies like this!

So even in Cinema 4D it doesn't appear that good and clean, but only when you take it to Adobe Illustrator?
Do you know if creating a cage like this is also easy in Max (because I know that it is possible) or does C4D have some nice functions that make it particularly easy?

Illustrator always only site. C4D simultaneous 4 sites. makes case around something easier.
