“Quicks” is my vision of a Future City car. It’s small, quick and affordable.
A relatively small 2wd car (2,480cm long – 1,400 wide – 1,240cm height) with 17 Inch Rims and runs on a Hybrid Engine (electric and gasoline-powered) which make it an environment friendly urban car.
The Engine sits in the front and the tank and Battery is underneath the trunk in the back. The Exhaust is hidden behind the back bonnet. The cleaned trunk lid opens and closing automatically through remote or a switch inside.
The side view shows that this design approaches the 2 “Envelopes” on the front and back as the distinctive design features.
The front “Envelope” is highlighted by matte black paint and breaks up the visual volume of the front of the Car to make it virtually open and suggesting lightness.
The interior of this car is based on 2 Aluminum tubes that stretch from front to the back of the inside car. The instruments are interactive replaceable with one of each other. The Driver can decide which instrument should appear on each position. GPS Navigation compared with Google Earth and the World Wide Web is integrated in the front window as a see through hologram.
The Seats are made of carbon and polyurethane and each seat has three suspensions that make a ride very comfortable.
The name Quicks suggests speed, compactness and flexibility.
the presentation and the interior of your car looks great..but the exterior is too much overcomplicated and not clear..the same volumetric idea has been brougt by VW New Beetle and has been handled very well in that case
Dear waveslide, kindly read my constructive criticism.
In the second picture, it looks like half the car is floating. In other words, don't use photoshop to create reflections by simply copying the image, mirroring it, and rotating it! It looks awful that way.
And as the others have said, the exterior design is inconsistent and has many abstract curvy shapes that give the car a weird, almost sloppy look. The headlights are a strange shape and give the car a strange expression. The way the hood and bumper are divided into curvy shapes causes the car to feel broken, unstreamlined, and messy.
I am not sure if the Peugeot jury will like the tuner-like rims.
The glass of the car looks like plastic that has been left in the sun too long... it is opaque and cyan. Why didn't you make the glass a more natural colour (black; grey) and more transparent? That way, in the renders people can see the inside of the car and appreciate the effort you put in the interior.
Although the interior is certainly creative, the overuse of chrome materials gives it a very messy look, since the average observer cannot see many of the details in it. Give it a matte plastic look and it will be far better.
Nevertheless, I am sure you will improve vastly in the future. Good luck in the competition all the same.
