    peugeot embrae

    hey guys!
this is my proposal for peugeot08..small car
    good luck!

Peugeot Embrae is a small single passenger city-car. It is well known that most of the big cars driven in modern cities are occupied by only one passenger most of the time. Heavy cars are consuming a lot of energy, causing traffic jams and using all cityspaces for parking. My concept of a single-minicar is a very ligt car that will be cheap to bulid and cheap to drive as well. It has a "stand up" function which helps to save space while parking and can be used to for easier boarding too. Embrae vehicle is powered by a pair of electromotors in the wheel disks. Batteries are placed in under the passanger legs, in the thick part of the seat. The rear wheel is very wide to keep the vehicle stable in low speed, computer driven wheel
    joint connection leans the vehicle
while hi-speed turning. Grand plastic windshield of the car does not have any visible columns, so the driver can see all around the car. If the weather is too warm and light or the driver want more privacy, windshield can be darkened by electroactive layer which controls the amount of light getting through the glass. Shaping of the car is all based on the human body curves and dimensions, and attempt to achive very low air resistance too. Seat is designed to offer maximum comfort while driving and to protect the passenger in case of an accident. Vehicle is controlled by two pedals and two joysticks. Driving of Embrae will give a lot of joy to the driver, it will be very fast, dynamic, ecological and cheap car of the future cities.

That is very interesting. It reminds me of an enclosed motorbike...

However, the idea of retractable rear wheels has been used in many designs before so I am not sure if it is sufficiently original.

Nevertheless, the quality of the work is very good... so good luck in the competition!

Has something good going on but again it's a rehashed concept from previous entries. Still a good attempt.
