Well, since a long time that I wanted to find a good tutorial, that taught me how to paint, and I finally found one. Here is my first painted car, nothing bad for first time?
I left beside the desgin, because I was just training
Anyway, there's a lot of things that I didn't like in the draw :banghead:
I hope me next work will be much better
.. (Now that I see it at full size, it looks awful xD I bet you all that if you see the real one it looks much better :P)
Well here are two another sketches I made. In the first one I tried to simulate a background that I saw in a Sketch in the net
Please, I need some advices for painting, or if anyone has a good tutorial please let me know about it. I will be really thankful.
Specially I need to know how to use Pastels, I have serious problem with 'em.
PD (My scanner, don't take the colour of the pastel pencils, or maybe I'm painting in a wrong way :S)
hi ...
Ur cars looks quite good, but:
U pay attention 2 details, but try 2 focus on PERSPECTIVE & PROPORTIONS FIRST ... i know that some of car designers like 2 draw HUGE wheels on their concept presentation, but they KNOW HOW 2 MAKE IT ... Urs looks kinda weird ... all because of proportions IMO ... try 2 draw Ur cars in balanced proportions & right perspective ... i can see that U can handle with coloring, it's quite good 4 me so keep up workin' ...
sorry about that i didn't comment Ur posts earlier
Well here I want to show you some news sketches. Still can't paint accuretely xD But I know I can get much better with practice. Also some perspective issues (Toyota Celica specially ) lack of details, etc. But, I think I'm getting better
First sketch is a Concept, second a Toyota Celica, third Opel Astra OPC, fourth Plymouth 'Cuda.
New painted cars Still not hundred per cent accurate, but they look really good! (When you see the real ones, they look much better, 'cause my scanner doesn't take some colours, so... =( )
U r doing great progress M8 ... keep working ... i think U should focussed on coloring (balancing tones) because i think Ur perspective & lines r good enough
About balancing colours, well I don't have real good pencils XD But I hope soon buy some real good markers, and good pastels Hope with that can do something better
BTW, another sketch, a Mazda RX-8. (The top is grey but my scanner... ¬¬ :P)
Well since a couple of months ago I bought some markers, so let me show you some of my new works with 'em. (I still don't know how to use them 100%accurately, but I'm leraning after each draw )
The first 3 draws are old, since the VW Touareg I've started to use markers.
