    If i'm not mistaken that's one of the two free hdri maps that you can get from dosch design. Also can someone re-attach the pdf, the file's expired.

    This is a nice tutorial! I always wondered how to do something like this! So.. i had to try out! Click here to enlarge And it worked! except that my headlight glass mat is no longer transparent and my rims are just black.. :dead: And i have no idea whats wrong... here is my result:

    Hi guys. Because I didn't want to do some stuff in PS I looked on the net for matteShadow that work with mentalRay ans skylight. If you use Max 2008, you just need to unlock the mip_matteshadow shader in the mentalray\shaders_standard\include\production.mi file. You just need to replace all "hidden" (except the first one) by # "hidden". By doing this you will unlock not just mia_matteshadow but other stuffs very interesting. Bye.

    ~I have a problem in this tut, every part of the car renders the alpha and reflections except the body, and i think its because of the shader, wich is wierd because i use the regular Car pPaint Material... why is this?
