I think they didn't specifically say 3D. If what you mean is that their car design should be 3D in order to qualify, then I can even say you need to do it with NURBS in order to be properly surfaced and be a proper 3D car model.

IMHO, I don't think it works that way. Whether or not it is 2D, polygon model or proper Class A surface model, it is still a very striking design. Plus, it is presented in a very convincing manner. There is no point doing it in 3D but the design ain't nice.

i save only 4/5 entry, and only 1/2 are really good... the others are only crap and poor...

i think you mean to say CG. They dont have to be CG at all, but thats how most people do it. They can be hand drawn or anything as long as it convey's the concept idea well.

and im not just saying this coz i entered and didnt come in the 30 but im glad i only lost a week of modelling for this competition

It is just possible there aren't really any "better" design this year. So if those are the best entries and you guys are starting to blame Peugeot, then perhaps all the contestants should be put to blame instead. Are you one of them?

I think few of the selected ones are really good. In a way they are futuristic and realistic (not a toy-looking car).

It´s really annoing that most of them the same character like their own 20cup concept
Why have people design the same concept? And why not state that as the goal in the first place.
