    350z - DfntPntbll

Saw the blueprints in the group project sub forum and wanted to try it out. I am going to be taking my time on this so dont expect huge updates every day. I'll psot progress once a day, but how much will depend on how much time I have to work on it. Anywho, front so far. Hope you like it. Click here to enlarge

I still need to chamfer some edges like around the lip of the fenders, but that aside, any crits are welcome. Click here to enlarge BTW I am using my PC at work,.. the one in my profile is my home PC.

huuu...looks like you donīt use symmetry. If you have a closer look at the front, there are some verts which arenīt symmetric. You should always use a symmetry modifier and model only one half of the car.

next point is that youīd have to space your edge loops more even. (i have marked you some things on your wire red = remove ; green=add)

the fender should bend in more (black line)

your wire renderings arenīt really bad but could be improved.
just setup a new "composite material"
as base material keep the standard mat
as material 1 add a new standard mat change the color and check the wire option for this material.
    apply and have fun

Not sure what you mean by it looking like I didnt use symmetry,... its in the modifier tree. Thank you for your input, I'll correct the edges you pointed out as well as created the material you suggested. Click here to enlarge

Edit: I looked more at the picture and I think the reason it doesn tlook right to you is becuase of the "boobs" I mentioned before.

could be the "boobs" Click here to enlarge or it could be a messed up symmetry coz if you have a look at the blue line, youīll see that you have an edge there on the left side but not on the right side.

perhaps you can show us more wires from different perspectives (or some front n top views)

strange....perhaps you want to use mentalray or default scanline for your wires.

edit: or someone with some vray experience can give you more tips on how to improve those wire renders
