    Peoples' Project Discussion

    ::Peoples' Project::

    Aims: To model a 3D Car as a group, with everyone working separately on their model but everyone helping each other as the car progresses with modelling tips and tricks.

    Car to Model: Nissan 350z - Blue prints are attached on this post

    ::How to take part::

    This project is open to everyone. If you wish to take part, please create a new thread with your username e.g. :

    Gizmo - 350z

    This will be your area to post your own progress.
    High res reference pictures can be found here.

    You will also find a thread called "Peoples' Project Discussion" (this thread) where all the discussions about the modelling will take place. This is the thread where all introductions, modelling problems, tips and help will take place. Please introduce yourself here.

    If you have any questions at all, need help or have a good tip please post here.

    ::Some changes!!::
    I've changed the car of the group project from the 200nx to a 350z because the 200nx was a bit to old and little bit to dificult for beginners. Also the blueprints didn't match. The new car (350z) had lots of great high res reference pictures and nice accurate blueprints.

    I didn't check if there were some other difrent parts, it's probably more than just a bumper.

    I see that this project has not that much attention as I thought it would get, does somebody has an idea how to give it more attention.
    Maybe use a other car for the project?
    A car with more refs and blueprint which are fitting better.

    I would connect to group project, but I donīt like this car. It is too old for me. Something modern, easier.....

    Let's considder another car and let the people who want to finish this car do their thing.
    But I had te same thoughts about this car, little bit too old and a bit to advanced for me. And the blueprints were not great and I hadn't got that much reference pics.

    Please tell me what kind of car you would like to model in a group project.
    It has to be:
    - Modern
    - A sport car
    - Not too dificult for beginners
    - Not overdone (like 350z/TT/GT-R 34 etc.)
    And it has to have good acurate blueprints and reference pictures.
