I was wondering when you say
The progress of this project will be openly discussed and documented in the new thread so we can all learn about the process.
Are you goin to post like tutorials or something so as everyone in the community can learn about what your doing. I know there arn't many tuts on rigging so that would be very useful. Or is it only the people who participate who get this sorta info.
    Thanks in advance.

thatŽs a bit hard to say right now, but i guess youŽll be able to get a lot of info out of the threads. perhaps someone writes a walkthrough or a short tut on certain things...iŽll encourage this but weŽll see how all of this turns out.

and the best way to make sure you learn from this project is to join and work hard.

I just graduated college with my degree in multimedia and 3D game design, this sounds like a fantastic idea. i however dont have much time to build anything as the game company i work for requires most of my time i can how ever provide any assistance/guidance within the 3ds max program or any post production or authoring programs

you can reach me on msn sincerelyjosh@yahoo.com or on aim: soulpaintedblack at pretty much any time of day or night as i am an insomniac..

ok, i'm just gonna say this: just because you want to do animation in a group doesn't mean you have to bump every thread that ever had animation group work in it. if you read anywhere on the forum, it would be quite clear that this thread is more dead than elvis or jimmy hoffa. i know you may want to do this but this whole bumping threads thing is getting old VERY quickly.

    rodder

ok, fine. i would just warn you that the fact that all threads along this theme have died should be a good indication of what will happen to most who try. i would suggest meeting someone on the forum and working out the idea. best of luck

    regards,
