Personally i think a bit of everything, It would be quite interesting to have some interviews. Particularly on how to get into car modelling etc as a career. More tutorials would be great but I think you need to try and incorporate some of the major tutorials into the website itself. Dont get me wrong i love this site, but navigating everything on the forum can be tiresome. I think you maybe need to think about adding a few more pages onto the site, for example a tutorials page, resources page maybe, some sort of articles page. I think forums are great but the one thing I hate if an unorganised forum. But then again cgtalk is organised but its just too damn big. And personally i would hate cg-cars to get like that. Even though cg-cars is more specialised there are still a huge amount of areas that the site can be broken into, 2d design, animations, various applications, modelling, texturing, all sorts of junk. I think right now you need to think more about the layout of the site for the future while cg-cars is still young. Maybe a good tutorials page where you could filter tutorials by application and type. Maybe a nice thumb of the result etc, i dunno. Its just really hard to filter through some of this stuff like it is.

    Hope this helps,
Would just like to say great work to the cg-cars team and particularly element for making it all happen! :buttrock:

I think we could do with a bit of everything but i would be most interested In more basic clay and studio rendering and i think it would be useful if there were more tuts for the harder parts of the car like the window surrounds, engine bay and starting of an interior etc, anyways i think the cg-cars team are doing great job so keep it up.

    tutorials is an obvious choice

but guess what.. thats not what i checked Click here to enlarge
no, instead i chose interviews, mainly because it gives the chance of an artist to say where they are comming from and his accomplishments etc. and also throw out any tips to new or even experienced users so.. really its an all in one giveaway

tutorials are always being made so i see no purpose in 'asking for more' really
and truely there are only so many things that can be learned from tutorials which.. when you hit that spot not covered you can't really do much (except ask, dont get me wrong here) so..

    thats where my vote went

XCNuse is right about tutorial. Actually, lot of modeler build their model in many mysterious way.

I just thought of something, why not set up wiki-alike FAQ's which can avoid "repeated question" posts. For instance

Q: Where do I find blueprint?
A: Visit that link, link, link or link blah blah

    Q:What is Chamfer in Polygon
A: Chamfer is blah blah, (might as well add some picture illustration)

Q:How can I model wheel with 3ds max, XSI, Rhino, AST, C4D, Lightwave...
A: Link for 3ds max blah blah, link for XSI, blah blah and so on....

That'd make much easier and less mess here don't y'all think so?

We got everything except of some good articles, you can found a lot of site with bla blah about 3d,modeling,rendering and other stuff ,no need to make another forum junkyard. That's only my opinionClick here to enlargeI'm lookin for somethin' interesting to read not only linked to modeling or rendering ,so here is my vote : articles.

Stop voting on the tutorials there are plenty of them on the hole internet and the newly one will be still available so your vote was just useless:]But people are greedy as hell("more tutorials, more tutorials")For some people even thousand of tutorials is still not enough,c'mon guyz do you really want to create nothing more than "another tutorial, another wip and so on"
I want to read somethin'(don't tell me there are others pages or I'll kick your butt....:P
    Hope I speak clearly:d

    We Are A Culture...

...and as a culture, we are obligated to welcome, nurture, teach, and encourage those desiring to take part in what is undoubtedly the world's premiere artform. While tutorials are an ideal means to that end, more is needed in the way building these skills into a career. Absolutehype's suggestions would certainly make a strong contribution toward such a goal.

Overall, fantastic site. I look forward to its evolution.
