NEW - Professional Compositing & Rendering Forum

    Hi CG-Cars' members.

We will shortly be opening a new Professional Compositing & Rendering forum section.

The aim of this section is to showcase finished models / scenes / composited images and videos - all done professionally, or to a very high level.

This new Forum will not focus on the modelling of the cars (the other Forum sections already cater for that), but more on how the finalised models are realised in a professional environment to create a final image or animation. Hopefully with a little insight into their creation.

Posting in this Forum will be by invite ONLY (although posting comments will be open to all). If you or your company would like to contribute to this new Forum please drop me (Dave_3d) a PM.

    Thanks,

    CG-Cars Group

    No, not really.

We already have Forums for Car modelling, ranging from Beginners to Hi-End.

This will be a Forum for actually taking and using the finished Car models and creating a high quality final render or composite. Focusing on the next stage of production after modelling is complete - integration into a scene or slick render. It will be handled in the same manner as the present Hi-End Car modelling Forum - where the best of the best are.

Certainly it can be used by Professionals as a showcase of their work, but hopefully it will show us what Car models can be used for in a professional environment. And hopefully with a few insightful comments from the Pros into scene rendering and compositing.

It is not intended solely for Professionals but the standard for the Professional Compositing & Rendering Forum will be HIGH.

If this proves to be popular (we will of course rely on submissions from the Pros Click here to enlarge ) we can certainly add a beginners/advanced section.

Me too !!! Obviously it won't be bulging, but I hope to get a few threads to get started.

I will be contacting some people.

If there is any Individual, Company or Advertising house you know that makes stunning work, please let me know.

Great Forum-Idea. Let's just hope those pros will give away some of their little secrets Click here to enlarge.

I figure Mackevision would be also a good place to ask. Haven't they posted here before? I think so ...
