    Cadillac Eldorado Concept EquiNOX

Guys I am in... I am doing Cadillac Eldorado concept inspired by my great uncle that loves/drives his black 1976 Eldorado (he passed away 3 yrs ago.)

Anyway here's my current WIP that I have done for 3 days/ 12 to 15 hours total (see image attached below). there are more work to do such as filleting, trimming the door/hood seams... trimming headlight, grille, and etc. I m planning on doing interior too, perhaps engine if I can. for those who visited/read previous tread --> "Congratulations EquiNOX" Now I proved you that I kept my promises...:deal: You all now can see my actual work which I haven't showed much with over 1000th post here.

Any comments, crits, suggestions... please feel free. :buttrock:

P.S. Don't mind about render... Its just a quick render using VRay for Rhino. very ackaward with it still on learning curve as of now.

Hey man, looks really good! But the clays are a bit too bright I think, hard to spot the detailing, but it looks really "Caddy"!
You won't get much closer to magic than pressing the render button.

It looks good. There is a resemblance to the 16 but i think that's because Equinox has perfected the cadillac design language. If you look at the rear, you can see where some of the shapes cood reflect the IMAJ for example. It isn't copied, that's just the risk of such a distinctive design.

Yes it is, I know rules of nurb "Never model half of car" but for caddy... its a perfect model because lot of caddy body is like "v' shaped between left/right side.

Yes, its based on sixteen... but two doors. I think sixteen is one of best caddy I ever saw (I have seen real one at car show). Not only sixteen but I intergraded with McLaren, Corvette, Imaj and 76 Eldorado.

You are exactly correct, you spoke my words Click here to enlarge. I didn't want to model concept that doesn't look resembelence to caddy. So I had to "copy" a little. Like doing a "chemestry" mixing body of a sixteen/corvette/Imaj to bring the reborn of Eldorado. A perfect example.. You can compare one to Escalade, Chevrolet Tahoe. and GMC Yukon. Their bodies look all same but a little adjustment in front and rear.

hehe, if i do, i would never stop until next morning Click here to enlarge

...and i like really the idea of a sixteen-touched concept with two doors, it's definitely the best caddy concept ever and i also saw it at the IAA in Frankfurt! keep it going, mate! Click here to enlarge

    best regards
