  1. for anyone else who might be interested in the theory and practice of HDR and full-spherical panoramas, i've uploaded some pages of explaining text to my site, just visit M3DHDR.com and clik the about or howto button in the left column. enjoy!
  2. hey man!

thanks again for the kind words! just keep on trying, you've got some nice equipment. you will definetely find your way to make beautiful HDR shots! its just a total shame that a camera of such proportion, can only shoot 3 stops interval... nice camera though, love your megapixels!

i've sent you a PM with the workflow. don't want to bother my guestbook with dull txt...

good luck with your future efforts, keep me posted!

    Hey man-
Again, super-nice HDR's & backplates. I actually would LOVE some help with shooting my HDR's. I am getting there, but they aren't quite as nice as yours.

Would you mind giving me a quick overview of your process?

Here's where I am at with mine, and what has given me the best results so far:

I am shooting on a 7D, and am currently just using the +-3 stops that are built in to that camera; trying to get more can result in small changes in the image since I have to physically touch the camera to change the exposure. The last one I shot was with a 4.5mm sigma lens (extreme circular fisheye), four shots at 90 degrees apart, merged to HDR in photoshop, and the stitched in Hugin. I may try the tool that you mentioned to do my stitching/merging.

Really, any tips you can give would be very much appreciated. Thanks so much
