thanks for the advice , i've tried it, but difficult to create the materials, and i've always some "bugs", so... , i've tried POV RAY too, but it's very hard to understand for a french guy like me.
Goes on with rhino..just to illustrate , not for the contest, my WIP (free hand creation)

Some renders with a friiend's flamingo, but in importing my models, i've losted all materials, so i must redo all
A little flashy, but i like it i'll do something more serious later, a lot of things to finish before: Lights, etc

you definetely have to join all your bodywork surfaces....this way you won't have holes between them...nice design !

Free render called Indigo... check it out http://www.indigorenderer.com/
You'll need exporter... I think its in the link too Good news, its free... its not a beta version. The render work nice but drawback is... it's VERY SLOW even SLOWER than Mental Ray in 3ds Max. If you have lot of patiences then this render would do good to you. |

as i said before :
"I hadn't succeed to download "indigo for rhino" it doesn't work, and "indigo" alone, is not trully helpfull...I'm not very gifted for... informatic !" thanks equinox A render of the yellow one , because it was my first attempt for this contest (to finish) And my new mirrors for the purple http://www.hiboox.com/vignettes/4206/1cece004.jpg Merci rain knight, je regarderai pour joindre les surfaces, je ne connais pas tout, il est vrai que la "bleu" était ma première tentative (hors concours), donc j'étais loin de posseder rhino (et j'en suis toujours loin ), et comme je l'ai déjà dis, ce qui me plait, c'est de créer des formes ...

My first complete attempt in 3D; a lot of errors, of course...
And the yellow, must do the details behind the lights, and a little panel just behind the front wing, still missing update later

Not enough to finish perfectly (i prefer to draw some others project )so not many details
And i have a problem with my lights, they're different after the render, may be that the glass shield is at the origin of the problem...the materials properties transform aren't good
